Pichiavo, ‘Discobolus Chromata’

Large scale street art mural in Wandsworth created during a collaboration between PichiAvo, Blank Walls and StolenSpace.

We were buzzing to team up with PichiAvo for a new mural in London while they were here for their Chromata show with StolenSpace.

PichiAvo are one of the most respected street art duos globally, known for fusing classical sculpture with graffiti. Their mural titled, ‘Discobolus Chromata’, comes from a new artistic technique where the classical figure, rendered in a vibrant colour gradient, stands out against a black and white background. It’s a style they’ve been developing for the Chromata series and seeing it painted in London was something special.

This project was a collaboration between PichiAvo, StolenSpace and Blank Walls. We secured the wall, handled permissions and took care of the logistics so the pair could paint during their time in London.

We’re proud to support projects that bring world class artists to the city and help them find the right walls. And on a personal level, working with PichiAvo meant a lot. We’ve admired their work since the early Blank Walls days, so getting to collaborate on this was a real full circle moment for us.
